Our Toddler program starts at ages 18 months to 3 years. There are no more than 15 children in the classroom with 3 directresses. The program is a mixed play/Montessori environment. Pending on the age of the child dictates what he/she may be working on throughout their morning. Teaching a child at an early age how to care for themselves and their environment is very beneficial for their natural growing needs and this can only be accomplished by providing the child with such an environment combined with both atmosphere and caring teachers. A child by the time they are 2-21/2 will already have been working with their shapes, colours, numbers, letters and sizes every day one on one and in a group setting. The children are also exposed to all different types of music and song. The French teacher comes into class everyday and works with the children for 20-30 minutes every day. The Toddlers have a playground of their very own complete with stimulating toys and imaginative structures. The Toddler program is a very unique program designed to encourage and motivate young children to become excited about learning and ready for the challenge of the Casa Program by the time they are 3 years old, and in some cases earlier. The little ones have been a amazing addition to our school.
