Grades 1 to 4 (only)

Our Alternative Elementary grades are mixed, we accommodate grades 1-4 (only). We offer a very specialized elementary program where the children receive a very personalized teaching environment.  We only accept a maximum of 15 children in this program. The mixed age groups make for a wonderful program at these grade levels. The children receive 1 hour of French per day they are taught their vocabulary, reading, reading comprehension as well as music and singing. We follow the Nelson Thomson Mathematics and Language curriculum, due to the small student to teacher ratio our children excel beyond their grade levels. The Elementary programs participate in Body movement once per week in the Pique Dance Studio just below us, the children get a chance to express themselves through movement and physical activity, they are exposed to many different types of music, composers and bands. The creativity shown through our concerts speaks volumes on how important it is to have creative components in a child’s curriculum or better yet their life. We cover every aspect of a child’s physical needs through physed classes and nutritional information given by all of our instructors. The outdoor playground is one of great beauty for our Casa and Elementary children, it is surrounded by a small man made lake and trails, most days the children can witness horse trainers using our outer space to work on training techniques for these beautiful animals, we also have a state of the art High Stepper from Dynamo Playground Equipment where the children can climb, hang and get plenty of physical activity. We love our Elementary program and the teachers and children show their gratitude and happiness through their kindness to each other.
