The Toddler Program (ages 18 months to 3 years)
Teaching a child at an early age to care for themselves and their environment is very beneficial for their natural growing needs. This can only be accomplished by providing the proper surroundings, combined with both atmosphere and caring instructors. The Toddler Program is a unique program designed to encourage and motivate young children to become excited about learning. It is also a very important first step to ready the child for the CASA program by the time they are three years of age. The French language is experienced daily through music, stories, drama and conversation.
The CASA Program (ages 3 to 6 years)
Manotick Montessori’s bilingual CASA classrooms provide a prepared environment where children are free to respond to their natural drive to work and learn. Through their work, they develop concentration, motivation, persistence and discipline. Within this framework, each child progresses at their own pace and rhythm according to their individual capabilities. Our classrooms are designed to mix children from three to six years old to allow for both social and individual development. Our program incorporates the Montessori philosophy; along with anatomy, creative arts, and music. The afternoon program consists of group projects involving geography, history, mathematics and language.
